Riana is originally from Jacob’s Bay, South Africa, but has been in the United States for the last ten years.  Her husband has a double degree in Biomechanical engineering and chemical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.  Now that both their daughters will be attending the School of Mines next year, Rianna is ready for some adventure.  This month she is headed to hike the Camino de Santiago in Spain (180 miles in seven days).  She loves visiting other countries including Italy, France, Spain and Sweden to learn about the culture and sample the local cuisine.

Her attitude about cycling includes promoting cycling etiquette.  She thinks that we should stick together and preserve Colorado as a cycling state.  She does not descend Lookout because she thinks that it is rather scary, but she will ride from in her home in Castle Rock to Lookout for a good long ride.
