Having been born in Nebraska, Matt went to high school at Highlands Ranch and graduated from University of Colorado with a degree in biology and psychology.  Subsequently he also achieved an MBA from the University of Chicago.  He now works in the field of medical devices.

Matt’s cycling career dates back to 2010 when he started mountain biking the Monarch Crest Trail.  His switch to road cycling includes a long ride of 75 miles.

On this day, he was cycling with previously profiled Matt Crowe, a cyclist who was in a horrific mountain cycling accident that could have left him quadriplegic. Matt Crowe recovered enough to cycle Lookout again and is on the board at Craig Hospital.  He is also heavily involved in the ride up Independence Pass that benefits Craig Hospital.  Craig Fischer hopes to participate in that ride to help raise money for the hospital.

Matt Fischer also enjoys the ride from Frisco to Vail- over AND back.

Thanks for your time and information, Matt.  Keep those wheels rolling.
