These two cycling friends are also both physicians originally from New England.  Though they have not ridden often on Lookout Mountain, they are both now training for this year’s Courage Classic bicycle ride that will be based in Copper Mountain.

Anesthesiologist Josh on the left is originally from Portland, Maine.  He graduated from Bucknell and works at University Hospital as an anesthesiologist.  Though he mostly ran for exercise up until about three months ago, he now enjoys riding the Platte River Trail and the Sand Creek Trail for his bicycle training.

Doctor Bryan is originally from Connecticut and went to school in the Boston area. He now works at the Veteran’s Administration in Internal Medicine.  Though this is his first ride up Lookout Mountain, he is looking forward to the climb to help prepare him for the Courage Classic.

This year’s Courage Classic, the 33d edition of the bicycle weekend that benefits Children’s Hospital and is sponsored by Prologis, will be based out of Copper Mountain on July 15th and 16th.  The distances offered for rides vary in length and can be researched by entering supportchildrenscolorado.org.
