Kyleigh was getting ready to ride as I came down from the Summer Solstice lap on Lookout. (If you join the SS group, be ready to ride by the 6AM start time or you will be chasing the main peloton that is vanishing between the pillars at that time.) The day was warming up, but Kyleigh was looking forward to the ascent bedecked in her California jersey.
She grew up in Chicago and attended the University of Illinois to get her degree in finance. Before becoming a local, she lived in the Bay Area of California, learning to love being outdoors and enjoying the coastal riding on a trip from SF to LA in 2019. She also challenged herself on Hawk Hill on the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge, eventually gaining a ten minute PR on the 700’ climb. She recommends the ride out of Salinas, a coastal town in Marin County for its beautiful views.
She now works for PWC here in Colorado and enjoys the mountains- a bit distant from the coast.
