Alex was riding her first climb up Lookout Mountain this Monday, training for her entry into the Steamboat 100 mile gravel ride on August 20th.  

She grew up on Cape Cod in Massachusetts and graduated with a journalism major from Northeastern University in Boston.  She has been in Colorado for two and a half years and loves to ski- having gotten her start at thirteen years old.  She is currently the Public Relations Manager for Vail Resorts.  

This is her first gravel bike and though the climb is relatively short, she loves climbing Dinosaur Ridge on her bicycle with pink tires.  

Asked about a quote, the journalism major said that she hopes her cycling career “can bring more fun and more acceptance for people with all body types”.

She also asked to add a shout out to Pedal of Littleton bike shop where she acquired her current ride.  (Pink tires and all.)
