Jeanna few up in Seattle, but received her nursing degree from Regis College here in Denver. She now works at the Medical Center in Aurora in the ICU.  She has had her bicycle for about two years.  Her Mother-in-law is her inspiration for riding Lookout Mountain.  Both plan to Ride the Rockies this summer and both recently finished the London Marathon. AND a group of fifteen friends including both of them finished the Boulder Half-Ironman Triathlon within the last two years.  AND her Mother-n-law finished first among the fifteen.  (She seems to be pretty proud of her Mother-in-law’s achievements.)

UNFORTUNATELY, Jeanna’s derailleur broke at the bottom of Lookout and her first go at the mountain.

Her husband works construction and enjoys running, having given up cycling and sold his bicycle.  BUT he is now having second thoughts and may get another ride.  Though he “hates races”, he has run the marathon distance solo.  Cool.

Locally, Jeanna enjoys the Cherry Creek Bike Path, the C-470 bike path and the South Platte bike path triangle.
