Josue is from the Chihuahua region of Mexico- as is one of his local friends, cyclist extraordinaire Jorge Hinojos. Josue has been in the US since he was thirteen years old and is now working in Telecom construction. He started riding a mountain bike to getting shape, but then switched to road riding. He had wondered why he should work harder to go slower. The switch has worked well for him as he has ridden a 27:30 on Lookout Mountain. He enjoys riding Lookout Mountain because he feels like he is exercising “inside the Louvre”. Though he has ridden many places in CO, UT, NV and AZ, one of his favorite rides is in Kolob Canyon, Utah.
