Ian is also a transplant as are many of us who ride Lookout. He grew up in Ohio in the Cleveland area and is now in sales account management for the Expedia Group. He got into cycling partly because his father is a long time cyclist and he is familiar with Denver because his mother grew up here. After attending Colorado College, he decided to stick around and has been a semi-native for the last ten years.

He said that he did not have an impressive cycling history and then related that he had cycled across the country with his father. it took them six weeks to transit the northern route from Eugene, Oregon to Boston. It was a ‘good challenge’ riding with his father as they mixed camping with overnights in hotels in the July/August timeframe.

Not too many LOM riders can say they have tackled such a project, Ian. Good on you.
