Forty six year old JAIME CEBALLOS LOPEZ just finished his 500th run up Lookout Mountain in the last ten years (he has over 300 in the last four years- he even broke down the laps per year for me). He was born in Mexico and has been in the U.S. for 25 years. Jaime attributes his mental and physical health to running- especially on Lookout Mountain. He works a couple extra jobs in addition to his main job as a cook at the Denver Aquarium-sometimes putting in 75 to 87 hours per week.

I can attest to his persistence. I saw him late one afternoon on the mountain and when I returned the next morning, he was there again, chugging away.
